What’s Here & WCF

Thanks for dropping by my blog. I don’t have a great deal to write today but I’ll be updating the site soon. With so many exciting technologies in the marketplace at the moment, I think it’s a great time to be a developer! I’m currently researching Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and plan to share some code samples and thoughts with you shortly. WCF is an architecture by Microsoft which allows .NET developers to build Service Oriented Architectures.  SOA is basically a distributed application.  Building modular software has always been a philosophy of mine and I think WCF as SOA will change the way I work. My primary project, Grow Live, is currently undergoing a major structural transition and will be based on WCF services. I believethis is a positive move as it will allow the system to be extended to other platforms through endpoints and contracts. I’ll keep you updated with this as things progress as well as code samples, ways to do things and good resources. Will post again soon!
